  3. Foundation Texts: Psalm 103:1-5, Mark 11:22-26, 1 Peter 3:12, 
  4.                     1 John 5:14,15, Rom 4:17.

  6. Psalm 107:20 "He sent His Word ;& healed them & delivered them from
  7. their destructions.' 
  8. Prov. 4:22 To those who attend to the Word & "find" it, it is
  9. health to all their flesh.
  10. 1 Thess.2:12 It is the Word  of  God  that  effectually  works  in 
  11. those  that  believe.

  13. God's way of saving us through being "born again" - of healing the
  14. body - of doing whatever He wants to do - is to SEND HIS WORD - and
  15. THEN FULFIL THAT WORD WHERE IT PRODUCES FAITH.

  17. Some people say "if so & so is healed, I will believe in Divine
  18. healing".  If we would not say "if so & so is saved, I will believe
  19. in salvation", then we should not look to the experience of people
  20. in preference to the Word of God concerning healing.
  21.  
  22. Many who profess to be Christians do not live consecrated lives,
  23. but this would not cause me to reject the doctrine of consecration. 
  24. God's Word is the basis for our faith and all our believing! 1
  25. Corinthians 6:19,20 1 John 2:15-17 Romans 6:11-16 Proverbs 28:13

  27. No person who allows himself to be ruled by the senses will ever
  28. have victorious faith.  Living in the sense realm only produces
  29. uncertainty and a double minded man is unstable in all his ways!
  30. James 1:8

  32. Until God's Word gains control over your mind, your mind will be
  33. swayed by feelings and symptoms.  That is why it is so important to
  34. get our mind renewed with the Word of God that we may prove what is
  35. His good, acceptable and perfect will.
  36.  
  37. GOD'S WORD IS A HEALING WORD  -    Psalm 107:20, 34:10, Luke 1:37,
  38.                                    Heb. 4:16 
  39. The Word will heal you if you confess it and speak it from a heart
  40. that believes God is able and will perform what He has promised. 
  41. If I confess God's promise and stand by that confession, God will
  42. make good all that I have confessed.  Romans 10:9,10
  43.  
  44. Don't let the devil rob you of your healing! 
  45.           Confess God's promise in your heart! 
  46.           Confess God's promise aloud!
  47.           Repeat it over and over.  Romans 10:17
  48.           Keep saying it until your spirit and your words agree.
  49.           Hold fast to it until your body comes into line with the
  50.           Word of God.

  52. PRAY AND ASK
  53. Ps.103:13 declares "like as a father pitieth his children, so the
  54. Lord pitieth them that fear Him".
  55. Do you enjoy watching your children suffer? No! And neither does
  56. your Heavenly Father enjoy watching you suffer.  God, our Father,
  57. invites us to ASK.  Jer.33:3 1 Peter 3:12 "The eyes of the Lord are
  58. over the righteous and His ears are open unto their prayers."
  59. 1 John  5:14,15
  60. You must have confidence that the promise is TO YOU! You must know
  61. that your heart does not condemn you' When you know this, you will
  62. not WAVER when you pray.

  64. BELIEVE THAT YOU RECEIVE WHEN YOU ASK!     Mark 11:24

  66. So many people pray for years asking God to grant their request,
  67. but THEY NEVER BELIEVE THAT THEY HAVE RECEIVED THE ANSWER THROUGH
  68. FAITH.
  69.  
  70. Faith is an inner knowing or assurance that you are convinced that
  71. what God promised, and what you asked for, belongs to-you.  Your
  72. faith is based on the Word of God alone.
  73.  
  74. Prov. 4:20-22 tells us to watch our ears, eyes and heart because
  75. our heart can be influenced by what we see, ear or feel unless we
  76. re only keeping our focus on the Word of God which will produce
  77. health to our flesh.  Heb. 12:2 JESUS IS THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF
  78. YOUR FAITH.  Don't look at distractions!
  79.  
  80. WHAT ATTITUDE DO YOU HAVE?
  81. 1)   Do you "agree" t at t e Word of God is true? Many people agree
  82.      that it is God's Word - and they give MENTAL ASSENT to it. 
  83.      They read it, quote it and even memorise it ... but that's as
  84.      far as they go.  THEY REFUSE TO ACT ON THE WORD.
  85.  
  86. 2)   Do you "believe" it when you "feel" it?
  87.      Some people gauge their healing on how they felt at the time
  88.      they were prayed for.  Maybe they say "I think I'm healed
  89.      because I feel so good".  "I felt I received a blessing". 
  90.      REAL FAITH IS INDEPENDENT OF WHAT YOU FEEL, SEE OR HEAR ..
  91.      IT'S BASED ON THE WORD OF GOD ALONE.
  92.  
  93. 3)   Do you believe God's Word and act on it?     James 1:22-25
  94.      These people believe that God watches over His Word to perform
  95.      it.  Jeremiah 1:12
  96.  
  97.      The one who "agrees" says     "I believe God's Word but
  98.                                    somehow it doesn't seem to be
  99.                                    for me." (Mental assent only) 
  100.      The one who "feels", says      "When I see it, I'll believe
  101.                                    it:" (Ruled by the senses,
  102.                                    reasoning and emotions.) 
  103.      The one in faith says         "I HAVE IT NOW.  By His stripes
  104.                                    I was healed.
  105.                                    God's Word says "Himself
  106.                                    (Jesus) took my infirmities and
  107.                                    bare my sicknesses."
  108.  
  109. Man's way is to keep looking at the symptoms but God's way is to
  110. keep looking at JESUS .. keep look at THE WORD OF GOD, allowing
  111. nothing to distract you.  Romans 4:17 John 11:41 While Lazarus was
  112. still dead, Jesus thanked His Father that God had heard His prayer
  113. for Lazarus to be raised.
  114.  
  115. JESUS TELLS US HOW TO PRAY AND RECEIVE THE ANSWER Mark 11:24 When
  116. you pray, believe that you receive the answer.
  117.  
  118. The Bible says -- at the time you pray, believe that you receive
  119. the answer, and in time you shall have it.  We want so often to
  120. read it as saying "when you desire something, pray, and when you
  121. see it, believe you have received."
  122.                JESUS TOLD US ...   BELIEVE AND YOU WILL SEE.
  123.                MAN SAYS "I'll BELIEVE WHEN I SEE.
  124.  
  125. This promise is conditional - BELIEVE YOU RECEIVE IT  WHEN  YOU 
  126. PRAY,  (your part)  and you shall have it! (God's part)
  127. Mark 16:17,18 BELIEVE WHEN HANDS ARE LAID UPON YOU THAT YOU HAVE
  128. YOUR ANSWER, and you shall recover.

  130. A believer will maintain agreement with the Word when he knows that
  131. God has said "My covenant will I not break nor alter the thing that
  132. is gone out of my lips." Psalm 89:34
  133.  
  134. Rev.12:11 OVERCOME SATAN BY THE BLOOD OF THE  LAMB  &  THE  WORD 
  135. OF  YOUR  TESTIMONY.
  136.  
  137.      You overcome the enemy because 
  138.                a)   you are a born again child of God, redeemed
  139.                     through the Blood of the Lamb
  140.  
  141.                b.   you confess the Word which defeats your
  142.                     adversary.
